Woodchurch HUB – your guide to visiting Woodchurch
Woodchurch village became firmly established in the 13th century with the building of All Saints Church. Today it remains a beautiful rural village that maintains much of its original charm.
At the centre of Woodchurch is a large green that is a welcoming place for families to picnic, play games and have fun. It is also a favourite place for cyclists to pause for a well-earned rest and for ramblers to start out on one of our many recommended walks through the Woodchurch countryside.
Woodchurch HUB is located in the car park right next to The Green. From here you can find all the information you need to enjoy your day in and around Woodchurch. The car park and accessible toilet are free and there is ample additional free parking around The Green.
The HUB is a convenient location to arrange to meet friends and to begin your exploration of Woodchurch village. From here it is a gentle walk to explore our rich village heritage by following our guide “A Stroll Around the Green” (available from The HUB and from the museum), visit our 13th Century Church, experience Woodchurch through the ages at Woodchurch Village Life Museum (free entry) and to continue to Woodchurch Wine vineyard for a tasting of our locally produced wines. When you return to the village centre you can relax with a cup of coffee and a snack at the Old Post Office Café or in one of our two village pubs, The Bonny Cravat or The Six Bells Inn.
